Superman Cover

This cover was during the whole War of Superman thing that was going on at DC.  I can't remember if this was a cover to Action or Superman.   It was during the time when they were switching back to the original numbering so almost every comic had two issue numbers on it.  Anyway, the interesting thing about this one was I had to turn this around in 24 hours.  That's design, pencil and ink in a day.  I really love how this turned out.  It just goes to show you that sometimes your first idea is your best and the less time you have to think about something and screw it up, the better!  When I first finished this I really felt like it had a Michael Golden vibe going on in the inking.  I'm not sure I feel as strongly about that now but I do think it is still there.
